We're passionate about delighting our customers through engaging, fun and informative experiences and have a great opportunity for a talented digital content marketing specialist to join us.

In this role you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality campaigns, content and new ideas that support brand strategies and campaigns.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and implement end-to-end marketing & communication campaigns including strategies for events, retail and publishing
  • Develop integrated calendars and marketing campaigns through relevant channels including, social media, web, email, SEO & display advertising
  • Ensure content & creative is consistent to tone of voice for the organisation, leveraging across multiple digital platforms
  • Apply best practices to ensure campaign success, measuring outcomes and managing budgets
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gain development of campaign, creative output, content style & messaging
  • Copywriting for digital marketing campaigns
  • Lead and drive ongoing improvements to digital content processes, including timeframes and work flows
  • Manage and work closely with creative, media and PR agencies
  • Lead and manage monthly reporting including campaign insights, trends & analytics.

Skills and experience

  • 4+ years experience in digital marketing and end-to-end campaign management
  • Passion for running, fitness and well-being
  • Proven ability of building, leading and managing marketing campaigns throughout the pipeline funnel across social, web, email, as well as in-person events
  • Experience in paid campaign execution – particularly Adwords, Facebook, Instagram
  • Track record of delivering strong strategically driven, customer centric marketing and communications outcomes
  • Experience building audiences with FB, Instagram and website
  • Ability to be innovative, have fun and share ideas with the team
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO
  • Experience in Adobe CS, CMS and scheduling tools
  • Experience producing content across multiple mediums: video, photography
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Experience growing a consumer brand
  • Strong focus on customer experience and satisfaction

About the role

We have an amazing opportunity for a hands-on editorial lead who has great energy and enthusiasm for working closely with a small team to assist in growing the Runner's World brand.

Passionate about running, health and wellness, you will predominately be managing content & flow across print, digital, EDM and social media channels of our award-winning magazine. You'll also be involved in driving audience growth through marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage content assets across all channels, including print, social media, digital, eNewsletters and video
  • Create, write & edit engaging content across all channels
  • Proof copy & fact checking
  • Use content management systems to post/schedule digital and social content
  • Manage & monitor social media & digital performance (analytics and trends)
  • Continue to optimise content, editorial process and efficiency
  • Work alongside ad sales to develop campaigns
  • Attend events and create social & digital stories
  • Take an active role in building relationships within the community

Skills and experience

  • Have a solid understanding for editorial content, writing, proofing and subbing in print, social & digital
  • Excellent writing skills in long and short form copy
  • Have experience in social media channels & in FB and Instagram campaigns
  • Have a good knowledge of CMS and social scheduling platforms
  • Have experience in print and digital media products
  • Be passionate about running, health and wellness
  • Be highly organised, results driven and have an exceptional eye for detail
  • Have 5+ years' experience in editorial producing engaging content
  • Have excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Have a sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop + InDesign)
